Winery Review: "Firm and structured, this is a solid wine, laced with mineral acidity and tight tannins. It has a juicy, blackberry fruit component cutting through the texture."
My Review: This wine overwhelmed me with a smokey tobacco smell. The only other aroma I was able to pick up was a bit of blackberry. Blackberry was the main flavor I got on the mid-palate. I did not love this wine but I think it was an excellent wine for the price point.
