Tasting- "Atlas Cumbres Cabernet Sauvignon"

Atlas Cumbres
Cabernet Sauvignon
$15 → $6.95
Argentina

Winery review: "Intense red color with violet highlights, with clean, fresh and complex aromas of berries, plums, figs and pepper. Strong personality is in perfect balance with a medium body and pleasant tannins. Ideal for: red meats, cheeses and strong sauces."

My review: This was definitely, in my opinion, the strongest wine from the tasting. It was a jammy red wine with a hint of toasted oak and spice. I have had wines produced by this vineyard before and every wine I have tasted so far has been solid--this wine is no exception. This Cabernet is typical of the strong Argentinian wines I enjoy. I would sip on this wine or pair it with red meats and sauces as the review above suggests.

This wine was tasted without food.
