Tasting- "Santa Julia Malbec"

Santa Julia
Malbec
Argentina
2012
$8.95

Winery Review: "The nose is full of mellow raspberry and cherry, while the palate is fleshy and round, with blackberry and a touch of raisin. Plump, not edgy, and ready to drink, with coffee and mocha notes on the finish."

My Review: This wine was very jammy with a deep ruby color. I definitely found the raspberry and cherry along with red currant. This was extremely smokey with notes of chocolate and coffee. This wine was very easy to sip alone; It goes down so easily it could be dangerous if you aren't paying attention!

This wine was tasted without food.
